Transliner Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, a member of Transliner Group, is an agent to Transliner Pte Ltd who is a Container Liner Operator registered in Singapore and in operation since 2001.

The Company is seeking a high calibre individual to complement the Group\'s existing professional team of managers for its next journey of growth and to drive key growth initiatives for the liner and freight forwarding businesses. The person must possess Liner experience, ideally with some background in freight forwarding.

The role includes:

Responsible for the overall growth and profitability of liner agency and freight forwarding businesses, and ensuring commercial, operational, and financial standards/targets are met, including but not limited to:

• Achieve and outperform volume and revenue budgets/forecasts.
• Retain and expand customer base with a view for year-on-year business and profitability growth.
• Enhance customer service experience.
• Maintain good relationship with vendors, feeder operators/agents, local shipping fraternity, other NVOCCs and / or competitors, and report prevailing market sentiments and developments to Principal on a timely manner in the form of market and sales analysis.
• Exercise due diligence in cost cutting measures, improving operational efficiencies, and maintaining strong credit and cost control culture.
• Travel for targeted customer visits and /or trade related fairs
• Lead in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Motivate team members to work cohesively to achieve KPIs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in container liner shipping business.
• High levels of self-motivation, with aspirations to grow with the organisation.
• Demonstrable track record of leadership.
• Preference will be given to candidates with combined Container Liner & Freight Forwarding experience.
