Mondays to Fridays:
7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
(inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break)
No service required on
Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
Scope of Services
The appointed personnel shall be responsible for:
Maintaining cleanliness of Craft & Technology special rooms (D&T workshops, Design & Art studios, Kitchen Labs).
Conducting scheduled termly cleaning and organization of the above facilities.
Assisting the Nutrition and Food Science (NFS) unit with daily preparation tasks for smooth lesson delivery.
Supporting NFS teachers in preparing food ingredients, crockery, and equipment for practical/investigative sessions.
Monitoring food stock levels and notifying NFS teachers when replenishment is required.
Maintaining high hygiene standards in kitchen labs and during food preparation.
Assisting the Staff Engagement Committee with preparation of light meals, desserts, snacks, and staff welfare packs.
Managing inventory of food ingredients, ensuring proper organization and storage.
Ensuring daily end-of-day cleaning, including sinks, stoves, and kitchen lab disinfecting.
Ensuring safety compliance within kitchen labs and safe use of kitchen equipment.
Washing aprons, school tablecloths, and other related items as needed.
Performing any other duties as assigned by School Management.
Qualifications and Skills
Qualification:
Completed Food Safety Course Level 1(preferred).
Skills:
Ability to cook light meals, desserts, and snacks.
Proficiency in reading and conversing in English.
Good interpersonal skills and pleasant disposition.
Experience:
Experience working with secondary school students.
Prior experience as a kitchen assistant in a school environment (preferred).
Alternatively, relevant experience in a commercial kitchen setting.
