Operating crawler cranes for lifting, moving, positioning or placing materials and equipment on construction/civil engineering sites.
Performing
pre-operation checks
: daily inspections, checking safety devices, inspecting for defects, ensuring crane is safe to operate.
Routine maintenance tasks: lubrication, greasing, cleaning, etc.
Interpreting load charts, lifting plans, job orders. Ensuring that lifts are safe and according to specifications.
Working with riggers, signalmen, lifting supervisors to coordinate safe operations.
Ensuring compliance with
regulations and safety guidelines
, including MOM (Ministry of Manpower) rules.
Logging operations, recording inspections and maintenance, reporting safety issues or defects.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
Valid
Crawler Crane Operator License / Certificate
from Singapore's authorities (MOM-registered; BCA-approved where applicable).
Minimum 3 years of experience operating crawler cranes
Physical fitness, good attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, teamwork, and ability to work under variable site conditions.
* Able to commit to shift work on a 6-day work week schedule.
