Crawler Crane Operator
Job Description
1. Operate crawler cranes to lift, move, position, place equipment, materials and other large objects at industrial sites.
2. Inspect the crane before and after operation to ensure it is in safe working condition.
3. Perform routine maintenance, such as lubricating parts and checking fluid levels.
4. Interpret lift plans, load charts, and site drawings to determine crane configurations and safe lifting capacities.
5. Communicate effectively with riggers, signalers, site supervisors to coordinate movements and ensure safe operations.
6. Set up and dismantle the crane safely according to project and manufacturer specifications.
7. Follow all site safety procedures including OSHA and local regulatory requirements.
8. Report any mechanical issues or unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
9. Ensure crane operations are conducted within defined load limits and environmental conditions (e.g., wind speeds, ground stability).
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Valid
Crane Operator Certification
(e.g., NCCCO, CIC, or equivalent local certification).2. Minimum of
2 years' experience
