To shape and drive the Superunion agenda and drive business growth. Champion creativity across the Asia region, and implement creative standards within your local office. Be a champion of regional ways of working. Manage and shepherd a local office to success.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Creative Director, you will have developed the experience and leadership skills to direct collaborative teams to deliver strategic and creative solutions for clients, helping teams flourish by guiding their efforts, directing their talents, and expanding their knowledge and skills to deliver creative and sustainable solutions for our clients. This is a growing role in thought leadership, team mentoring, and business development, championing the role of creativity in our business, and in our clients\' businesses. Leadership & commercial:
Contributing member of local leadership team.
Collaboration with local leadership team to deliver against monthly targets.
Identifying the growth agenda for Superunion for your local office, in targeting key clients and strategy offer.
Working with other Directors within the strategy, client and design teams, to drive forward the local office business.
Contributing to the regional creative agenda, and growth plans.
Line management responsibility with your direct reports, ensuring adequate development plans and wellbeing of individuals are well taken care of.
Managing the local office creative/design team:
Managing and mentoring the creative team and overseeing quality of creative output, and project delivery.
Helping cross-functional teams flourish across multiple projects.
Dependent on the size of the team, this may also be in partnership with other Creative and Design Directors.
Drive initiatives to facilitate learning and development.
Oversee resource management, ensuring timely delivery to clients and wellbeing of team members.
Coach junior team members to develop competencies and skills such as building client relationships.
Building effective colleague partnerships:
Working closely with the strategy and client teams to ensure project success and timely turnaround.
Building great, collaborative relationships between the strategy, client, and design teams across the business, within the local office & across the Asia region.
Working in collaboration with the local office leadership team to constantly seek better ways to improve the business output and ways of working.
Contribute and drive effective regional ways of working across projects.
Driving client relationships & business development:
Be the trusted port of call for clients and develop long term relationships, with a view to farming.
Drive new business conversations with clients.
Lead development of pitch proposals.
Drive conversion of new business and farming opportunities.
Product & thought leadership:
Identify and contribute to at least 2-3 self-directed thought leadership pieces per year.
Seek opportunities to represent Superunion at industry events.
Delivering highly effective creative solutions to clients, and contributing to development of new and better creative product solutions in the future.
Are there any specific requirements or technical details you need?
Ideally, you will have approx. 9-10 years experience working in the branding or marketing industry, ideally with Agency experience.
You would have managed a team of creative thinkers in the past.
Solid exposure and previous experience working with C-Suite level clients.
Expert in building creative solutions, presentations and arguments.
Excellent presentation skills, with a desire to become even better.
Excellent business writing capability, with solid understanding of how to structure documents.
