As a Credit Operations Analyst you'd be able to work on and solve some of the many interesting challenges we are facing, learn new ways of working, and build delightful high quality products for our customers. The role reports to the Credit Operations Lead. Credit assessment, evaluation and approval of retail assets product applications with calculated credit risk by prudently evaluating and approving such applications in a timely and accurate manner, within the policies as established by the regulatory bodies and internal guideline. The Role Responsibility:

  • Evaluate and approve new applications/increase in limits/annual reviews/facility conversions and other common requests.
  • Perform necessary verification required for credit decisioning.
  • Working closely with Policy and vendor on delivering the policy changes in the credit decisioning systems.
  • Support on test planning and test execution for any credit policy changes or new product or new program introduction.
  • Working with product/marketing/sales/IT/Lending Operations on new programs/products/systems to ensure smooth. implementation.
  • Co-supervision and training of new/existing staff on new products and guidelines under the purview of credit evaluation.
  • Actively engage the teams in regular discussions to drive operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain an open channel of communication with other stakeholders particularly sales channels, product/ process, policy/risk and operations teams to address any issues.
Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with the standards and regulatory requirements, including those pertaining to Money Laundering and KYC.
  • Participate in and/or support the Bank's effort in combating money-laundering activities.
Key Stakeholders
  • Head of Core Operations.
  • Functional Partners including T&I, Risk, Compliance, HR, Finance, Legal, Audit, etc.
  • Relevant outsourcing teams.
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in credit initiation process for retail products (unsecured) in financial services.
  • Working and / or practical Knowledge on credit decision system.
  • Robust written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office - Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel a must.
