Job Description

• Onboarding and credit assessment, developing in-depth understanding and key credit risk drivers of counterparties in assigned portfolio.
• Set up ongoing process to conduct periodic reviews for active counterparties, assign internal ratings, recommend payment terms and open limits to counterparties.
• Maintain credit limits and counterparty reference data in trading system in timely fashion.
• Credit exposure reporting including ensuring counterparties are within limits; resolve or escalate breaches timely.
• Work with trading desks to mitigate risks and facilitate trade without compromising control accountabilities.
• Monitor relevant markets and sectors, provide team lead with constant visibility of anticipated risks in assigned portfolio early.
• Negotiate payment terms and credit support in trading agreements with counterparties.
• Coordinate issuances of bilateral guarantees with counterparties, legal and HQ.
• Drive continuous process standardization and improvement.
