Credit Risk Analyst / Senior Analyst - Leading Energy Trading Company
- 3 to 7 years of credit risk experience within commodities or banking
- Diverse commodities coverage including energy, dry bulk
- High level delegation of authority assigned to Singapore team
Role
- Conduct thorough credit assessments of counterparties, analyzing financial statements, credit reports, market trends, and other relevant data.
- Evaluate and monitor credit limits, exposures, and risk ratings for clients, ensuring compliance with established risk policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading, finance, and legal, to assess and mitigate credit risks associated with trading activities.
- Stay updated on market trends, economic developments, and industry news to provide insightful credit risk analysis and recommendations.
- Prepare concise and accurate credit risk reports for senior management and participate in risk committee discussions.
- Contribute to the enhancement of credit risk methodologies, models, and processes to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of risk assessments.
The successful candidate will be a degree holder in Mathematical / Finance / Business discipline, with 3to 7 years\' credit risk management experience in a commodities trading environment. You will be described as highly analytical, a solutions provider with a keen eye for detail. You will also be an effective team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to network effectively with external counterparties.
