Serve as the primary reviewer for new case assessments, conducting independent credit evaluations of cases from the Corporate Banking and Treasury Departments.
Perform independent annual and ad-hoc credit reviews for existing cases submitted by the Corporate Banking and Treasury Departments.
Prepare necessary documents, including original credit applications and voting forms, and take minutes during credit committee meetings.
Ensure the timely submission and review of annual credit evaluations for all existing credit files.
Generate periodic risk reports (daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual) in line with the Routine Report List.
Monitor the implementation of relevant policies and procedures.
Conduct KYC (Know Your Customer) and CDD (Customer Due Diligence) reviews.
Assist in managing market risk and liquidity risk.
Support reporting and inquiries from the China Head Office.
Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required by the Bank.
Maintain organized records and manage filing systems.
Requirements:
A degree in Finance, Business, Accountancy, Economics, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
Ability to liase with Chinese speaking stakeholders
Strong knowledge of credit risk management and mitigation practices, along with an understanding of industry issues and developments.
