Audit & Vetting performance monitoring and preparation for vetting in close liaison with External (ISO/TMSA/Oil Major) and in-house Marine, Operations & Technical Departments
Prepare and keep updated crew cost budget assumption paper as 12 months rolling rotation plan for top 4 officers for each assigned vessel
Ship visits whenever possible on assigned fleet when passing Singapore
Assure monthly crew cost reporting and monitoring
Proactively source, select and propose Officers and Crew for Fleet vessels (Indonesian + Filipino East-European)
Visit manning agents and conduct official audit
Review & Update (as required) operation procedure and policy.
Ensure crew compliance of various flag state requirements and licenses & certificates of competencies issued under STCW Convention.
Arrange Interview with all stake holders for sea-going officers & crewmembers
Coordinate with all stakeholders for monitor and check crew performance onboard and feedback applicable training programs.
Monitor and evaluate performance of manning offices.
Coordinate with manning offices on future manning requirements and various programs to sustain pool of sea staff.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of Crew Department personnel.
Prepare (Selection/Travel/Accommodation/Coordination/Presentation) and finalization of a successful Crew Seminar.
Perform other tasks assigned by the management
Lead and oversee various activities for the welfare and morale programs for sea personnel and their families and union matters.
Monitor market wages and update management for wage scale adjustment.
Research and develop new manning sources.
Prepare and propose crewing budget (new takeover vessels) and follow up and assist with crewing related account matters.
Disseminate company instruction to vessel, manning office and all concerned parties.
