M&A Consulting Unit M&A Consulting Unit within YAMADA Consulting Group is a unit that assists Senior Executives, CEOs and Boards of leading (Japanese & ASEAN) corporations, SMEs and government agencies to develop and execute strategies including market entry and growth strategy, M&A strategy and government policy design. M&A Consulting team works both as a buy side advisor for an investor and a sell side advisor for a seller in Japan, ASEAN & India.
Cross-Border M&A Division, M&A Consulting Unit \xef\xbc\x8d Business Development Intern & Summary The Business Development intern will target both our key growth areas (in ASEAN & India) as well as Japan to further deepen YAMADA Consulting Group\xe2\x80\x99s presence in the region. Within the M&A Consulting Unit, you will work on developing potential sell side and buy side clients by developing outreach programs to secure a contract from both the sides. We work across all lines of industries so you will need to understand the industry & geography thoroughly and develop clear storyline about the target market as well as the value propositions and then execute the same to cultivate more clients. Duration We are looking for candidates to join us for our Business Development internship from May 2023 to November 2023 (Full-time). Apart from developing recommendation on a target market and the companies within it for M&A purposes, you will also get to execute the same and see your efforts come to fruition as well. What You\'ll Do
Develop business recommendation to identify a target market, industry and companies
Understand buy side M&A requirements and identify potential target firms
Approach the potential buy side / sell side clients with a clear value proposition to increase YAMADA Consulting Group\xe2\x80\x99s revenue by securing more potential M&A deals
Monitor news & earnings report presentations to ascertain client needs for M&A
Current pipeline analysis to generate more M&A deals and management of the growing pipeline
Synthesize your findings and present to key project stakeholders
Qualifications Required:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to articulate ideas clearly to stakeholders with both qualitative and quantitative support
Self-motivated & independent
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred:
Prior B2B Business Development experience/Consulting Background preferred
Working knowledge of Company databases (Capital IQ, Orbis) preferred
Japanese language capability (Business level) is an advantage
