Job Summary/Purpose:

  • Lead the development of South APAC consumer marketing strategies, promotional & product innovation and actively implement and steward global programs with leading QSR customer in the region to maximize profitable growth and that increase the long-term ‘partnership’ value of The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) brands (including core sparkling brands, non-carbonated beverages and innovative new products which meet changing consumer needs).
  • Collaborate with the broader International Marketing Strategy & Insights team to develop scalable programs in line with the customer’s global growth plan
  • Play a leading role as subject matter expert in strategically selected projects such as Gen Z Recruitment. Steward best practices across the globe through the development of toolkits & best practice guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison and steward the strategic marketing relationship with senior marketing stakeholders, both internal and external across South APAC, ensuring the integration and alignment of TCCC and customer strategic priorities in Annual Business Plan & Collaborative Business Planning processes leveraging best practice, new thinking, resources and capability to drive synergies and results.
  • The successful candidate must be able to independently engage and influence internal & external Senior Marketing leaders (CMO level, VP Marketing, Frontline Directors, Category Leads, Design, etc).
  • Consult and coach Business Managers across the South APAC region across all areas of the Marketing mix helping deliver the best of TCCC marketing to the customer every day.
Impact and Scope

This position has marketing oversight for a critical piece of business with a key customer for The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC). The South APAC region includes 9 core markets delivering ~70M UC annually including ASEAN South Pacific Markets of Australia, New Zealand (& Pacific Islands), Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand & Vietnam as well as India within the INSWA OU.

Education/Qualifications: Minimum – University Degree (Preference for Marketing concentration) Preferred – MBA Experience: Minimum – 10 years business experience. In-depth understanding, knowledge and practical experience in consumer marketing (minimum 5 years). Preferred - 10 years business experience in fast-moving consumer goods organization; customer management exposure and experience; knowledge of his/her geographical area business environment; and an understanding of the complexities of Company and Customer systems. Travel Requirements: 25% (within South APAC region & globally when required) Language Requirements: Strong Proficiency in English. Other South APAC languages are a plus Top Competencies:
