Job Description

• Position : Customer Service Executive (Freight/Documentation/ Ship Spare) - All Welcome
• Location : Tanjong Penjuru
• Working hours : 5.5 days work week; Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm/ Sat 8:30am-12:30pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4500 + Performance Bonus + Up to 10 days Annual Leave + Company Mobile will be provided + 14 days Annual Leave
• Duration : Perm

Main Responsibilities:

• To handle all Freight shipment and enquiry both Air and Sea.
• To handle all shipment in accordance to the port and authorities' terms and regulation.
• To ensure all GST 7% for all import shipment is paid to Singapore Customs before customs clearance
• To monitor closely on the vessel/flight arrival closely
• To follow up closely to ensure the delivery is done when vessel/flight arrival
• To ensure all additional cost such as port storage, detention, demurrage, washing, repair cost, etc is communicated to customer.
• To place booking of the space with shipping carrier/Airline for export shipment
• To ensure cargo is collected on time.
• To ensure that all billing to customer is done on time
• To ensure that all vendors invoices are taken in on time for finance payment
• To inform Operation Executive if any matter arises which you are unable to resolve
• To inform the Operation Executive should there be any potential claims arises
• To inform Operation Executive if there is something amiss (such as customer volume drop or stop shipment, etc)
• To ensure proper filing of all documents so that it's been traceable
• To assist on any other matters assigned by the Operation Executive and/or General Manager

Requirement:

• Diploma and min 3-5 years operation experience in marine, freight & warehouse logistics
• Knowledge in technical, chemical and mechanical application and specification will be an advantage
• Willing to work at odd hours (if required) due vessel berthing timing
