Responsibilities

  • Actively pursue potential customers to assist them through the onboarding process to open accounts via text, emails, phone calls and digital tools
  • Follow up closely for KYC (know your customer) and account opening documentation
  • Timely and accurately deliver all account opening functions as well as provide superior client service & resolution of client issues
  • Attend to customer’s inquiries/complaints via Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform/WhatsApp and provide necessary advice/support/resolution in a timely manner
  • Document, track and report all customer interactions via the CRM platform and share with senior leadership to drive business strategy and enhance platform service standards
  • Handle and resolve complex cases by liaising with an internal multi-functional team to find out the best possible solutions
  • Gain proficiency and keep up to date on the workings of the platform, to respond promptly to customer enquiries
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development and Business Operations teams to ensure improvements in average time from sign-up to successful account opening

Requirements

  • You have 2+ years in a sales/customer service environment (those with no experience are also welcomed to apply)
  • You have strong communication and customer service skills
  • You are concise yet persuasive in your communication
  • You are a driven and independent team player, with good people skills
  • You have a strong passion for working in a start-up environment
  • You are customer-centric & you listen, engage and act for their benefit
  • You are a go-getter, with a high level of honesty and integrity. Proactive and meticulous.
  • You possess a high level of patience and empathy to navigate difficult conversations
  • You have a proven record of working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • You are good at following up with customers on their queries
  • You are familiar with CRM systems & tools such as SalesForce (this is a plus)
