Standard Chartered nexus is looking for a highly talented Cyber Security Lead to join our ICS Security Operations team. The candidate should have rich experience in leading blue and red teams, with at least 7 years of background leading cyber security in both startups and large corporations:

What you\'ll be doing

• Be the trusted advisor on ICS, to facilitate and promote the understanding of ICS requirements, and act as subject matter expert on activities relating to cyber related detection and incident responses
• Be part of design and implementation for ICS risk governance framework and program management activities, tailored to a digital bank.
• Be part of driving standardisation and automation through re-engineering and process improvement
• Lead triaging and investigations, cyber security breaches, solutioning for incident response and support to digital forensics, where required.
• Risk Management: Risk reviews, recommendation, provide insights on risk posture through thematic and accurate risk profile and reporting.
• Work closely with legal, compliance and other risk owners to ensure compliance with Standard Chartered policies and regulatory requirements
• Be instrumental to business by giving clear guidance, supervision and support to team through technical and product knowledge.
• Provides good technical input and challenge on assignment to steer team in producing high quality solutioning.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

• 7+ years of working experience in security operations, penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, and security monitoring activities, ideally from a global set up.
• Knowledge in penetration testing methodologies across application and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience reviewing cloud, application, information, and cyber security.
• Ability to connect the dots on identification of incidents (including triage, corelate to past or concurrent incidents/alerts) to post incident recovery activities.
• Good understanding of tactics, techniques, and procedures that could be used in cyber kill chain for recon, persistence, lateral movement, and ex-filtration.
• Ability to develop and operationalised security monitoring capabilities, tooling and use cases for different tech stacks (e.g. APIs, application) including cloud and container set up.
• Familiar with the threat and vulnerability landscape including malware, emerging threats, attacks and vulnerability management
• Experience with Programming and scripting languages, e.g. Perl, Python, PowerShell or shell scripting, as well as Splunk or sumo logic tools.

Good To Haves?

• A self-starter, independent with minimal supervision and strong hand-on experiences in building security monitoring and incident response capabilities including playbook, processes, and tooling.
• Hands-on experience in digital forensic, threat hunting is a plus.
• Knowledge of enterprise hardware, agile development concepts, protocol usage etc.
• Knowledge of industry trends and developments including impact on the business.
• Knowledge of retail banking products and processes with a focus on digital products, functions, features and processes.
• Good communicator who is sharp and passionate in ICS topics.
