Roles & Responsibilities Job scope

• Conducting regular security analyses such as network security/ Firewall, intrusion detection, and prevention system. This involves analysis of security architectures, cybersecurity threats, software installation, configuration, integration, and application issues and inquiries
• Performing vulnerability assessment and penetration testing through external partners/vendors
• Conducting risk assessment, Log review assessment, and security event management
• Identifying potential gaps in security control to enhance early detection capability
• The setting, Reviewing and Updating Cyber Security Policies
• Defining and enforcing security policies, SOP, and monitoring for compliance
• Provide technical support & resolution to (Office and Vessels) IT problems, incidents, issues, requests, and queries.
• Monitor & manage IT infrastructure System and network (office and vessels) performance for reliability, identifies, analyze, and resolve hardware, software, and network problems

• Expertise in anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls, and content filtering
• Endpoint security solutions, including file integrity monitoring and data loss prevention
• Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
• Expertise in designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures
• Disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies, and methods
• Planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures
• System administration, supporting multiple platforms and applications

• 
  Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Min. 5 years of cyber security relevant experience in security testing, review, or in the areas of a security audit, governance, risk, and compliance
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, ISSAP, CEH, etc...
• MCSE/MCSA and or CCNA certification preferred.
• Good understanding of all Windows OS, Active Directory, and group policy
• Experience in endpoint hardware troubleshooting and Fault diagnosis
• Knowledge of Inmarsat, V-sat systems, MSSQL, Veeam, and Checkpoint products is an advantage
• Knowledge and exposure to IT audit will be an advantage
• Good documentation and reporting skills in English
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be a team player and have excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Strong learning capability and commitment to self-development
• Ability to travel and attend onboard ships on short notice
