Job Description
We are seeking a Cybersecurity & Systems Support Engineer to support the operations and cybersecurity of mission-critical systems. In this role, you will maintain, monitor, and secure systems to ensure smooth and uninterrupted business operations. You will also contribute to solution delivery, risk management, and continuous improvement, helping to strengthen the organisation's overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L1 operations and support, including incident response and user support (with roster-based standby duty). Monitor and manage system alerts, perform routine testing, and support change management. Carry out cybersecurity activities such as vulnerability management, access/log reviews, risk register maintenance, and cyber awareness training. Support programme delivery in areas such as system design, implementation, configuration, and cloud/infrastructure administration. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and operational processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to improve efficiency, resiliency, and compliance with policies and best practices.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields. At least 2 years' experience in IT Operations or Cybersecurity Operations. Exposure to IT service delivery management and SLA/OLA compliance. Knowledge in one or more of the following areas is desirable: coding (C#, Java, JavaScript), DevOps/DevSecOps, cloud (AWS/Azure), databases, middleware, Windows/Linux administration, infrastructure, and cybersecurity practices. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL, CISSP) are an advantage. * Positive working attitude and commitment to continuous learning.
