Job Description

In this role you will be involved in Group Data Infrastructure Project using Microsoft Data Lake, Apache Kafka and several technologies for Data Obfuscation / encryption to protect PII (Personal Identifiable Information). You will also be involved in projects to democratize our data for several departments, enabling citizen data analysts in various business units to utilize their data after ETL process done in our IHH Singapore Data Warehouse or Group Data Infrastructure. The staff for this role will also be involved in automation/RPA initiatives as well as ML/AI model deployment as REST API to be used for multiple clients ie Power Apps, Power BI, etc

Key accountabilities

Key Responsibilities:
Data:

• Facilitate coordination for the Group Data Project infra setup especially on the technology components under Singapore custody
• Facilitate coordination and lead the ETL requirements and execution as part of Group Data Project
• Taking charge of data obfuscation, encryption/decryption process with secure key infrastructure
• Maintain the ongoing ETL (monitor, enhance and redevelopment where necessary)
• Maintain software pertaining to Group Data Project (i.e. coordination for planned upgrade, patches, etc)
• Facilitate the infrastructure maintenance coordination with Infra Team
• Support use cases from business leaders and any other stakeholders using any data from Group Data Infrastructure
• Take part in new Machine Learning/AI initiatives using data taken from any of our data infrastructure

Automation:

• Work with Business to identify automation opportunities
• Determine business benefits and productivity savings arising from automation
• Streamline and refine business processes to enable the automation process
• Deliver the complete automation based on full cycle of software delivery (requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, post implementation support) based on Agile development framework.
• Track and provide regular project status update to project stakeholders
• Develop Automation operational handbook to ensure smooth transition to production support Conduct internal RPA training when required

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experienced in IT software development including designing and developing Data Warehouse or Data Lake with technologies such as CDC (Change Data Capture) involving static and streaming data using tools such as Apache Kafka
• Experience in maintaining Data Warehouse or Data Lake operation along with change requests for new extraction development or updating the existing ETL to suit new requirements.
• Experience with big data infrastructure ie Hadoop based or data lake based with complete separation between storage and compute and ability for parallel processing tasks are essential.
• Mastery of SQL and PL/SQL programming language and automation scripts are essential, along with other experience in other programming languages for development ie Dot Net, Python, Java etc
• Working knowledge on BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc will be essential
• Experience in ML/AI related projects will be an advantage especially on creation, test and deployment of the model into Production

• Experience in RPA solutions ie UIPath, Microsoft RPA; equipped with strong knowledge of development framework, development and deployment best practices • Experience in setting up and managing RPA environment including separate environment for Development, Test and Production

• Must have RPA development experience using UIPath (must) and other automation tools such as Microsoft RPA, tagUI (advantageous) and the working knowledge in deploying the automation ie using UIPath orchestrator for UIPath automations.
• Additional hands-on experience in process automation using Microsoft Power Platform technologies (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents)
• Exposure in Agile Project Methodology (Scrum) and conventional project management certification (PMP or Prince 2) will be advantageous
