About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Data Centre Delivery Engineer (Design & Implementation)

to lead the

end-to-end planning, design, and coordination

of data centre infrastructure for a

global banking environment

.







The role requires expertise in

DC layout design, power & cooling planning, structured cabling

, and

vendor coordination

to ensure that all deployments meet

high-availability and compliance standards

.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and validate

data centre floor plans, rack layouts, and infrastructure drawings

Design and plan

DC hall layouts

including rack positioning, structured cabling, power distribution, and cooling configuration Review vendor design proposals and ensure alignment with

enterprise and industry standards

(Uptime, TIA-942, ASHRAE) Prepare

technical documentation

, design justification reports, and presentation materials for stakeholder approval Coordinate

implementation activities

with vendors, contractors, and internal infrastructure teams Conduct

site inspections

and verify that installations follow approved designs and safety standards Support

capacity management, design audits, and risk assessments

Drive

continuous improvement

of DC design guidelines and delivery practices

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in

Electrical / Mechanical / Computer Engineering

or related discipline Minimum

5 years of hands-on experience

in

data centre design, planning, and delivery coordination

Strong knowledge of

rack design, structured cabling, power distribution, and cooling infrastructure

Proficient in

AutoCAD, Visio

, or similar DC design tools Demonstrated experience in

vendor management and infrastructure implementation

Solid understanding of

Uptime Tier classifications

,

ASHRAE

, and

TIA-942

design standards Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills Prior experience supporting

banking or mission-critical environments

will be highly regarded Possession of professional certifications such as:

CDCDP - Certified Data Centre Design Professional

DCDC - Data Centre Design Consultant

ATD - Accredited Tier Designer

CDCE / CDCMP - Certified Data Centre Expert / Management Professional

PE License

(Professional Engineer) - an added advantage
