The lead will conduct inter-department collaborations to identify business needs, specify technical requirements, define data strategies, and deploy solutions that enable the collection, processing, management, and delivery of data. This position provides leadership and oversight of organisational objectives and policies, procedures. Lead data platform development, data modelling, troubleshooting efforts of analytics projects and collaborating with cross functional teams comprised of end users, management, and vendors. Identify, assess and solve complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of processes and objectives. Improve and sustain effective data management and governance resulting in improved quality and consistency of data used to drive key business decisions. Work closely with Data Architects / Data Engineers and Data Analyst to ensure solutions are continually improved to synchronise with business processes. Work with cloud infrastructure, enterprise data integration tools, data warehouse, and business intelligence tools. Adapt to new data technologies in the industry and plan for continuous integration and upgrade of the existing solutions. Requirements: At least 3 years of experience working with major data related technologies, such as ETL tools, data warehouse, and business intelligence. Strong business understanding paired with strong technical skills, to convey business requirements to technical specifications. Strong understanding and leadership experience in projects relating to data preparation, staging, management, and analytics. Strong understanding of data structure classifications, workflow and processes. Experience designing and architecting data solutions. Experience leading and mentoring team members. Experience implementing data governance best practices. Degree holder in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. Good team player and process driven with meticulous attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication skills.
