Job Description


  • Monitor and manage daily operations of the data pipelines from data acquisition to data distribution. Effectively troubleshoot and fix technical issues and data issues encountered to meet delivery deadline.
  • Improve and refine the data pipeline for better automation and accuracy.
  • Conduct testing and deployment of the pipeline for system upgrade and platform migration.
  • Solve data issues and fulfill data requests raised by internal and external clients on timely manner.
  • Work side-by-side with Data Quality Analyst for data correction request, data quality process deployment, and data issue troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate closely with SDE, DevOps, Product, Client Support and Research teams on back-end data pipeline project for new product release, enhancement, and new model development.
  • Create and update data operations documentation.
  • Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science or related fields with good passion to data content. Or Financial Engineering, Operational Research related fields with coding and troubleshooting skills. 1~2 year of relevant working experience with progressive responsibility is a good plus.
  • Must have experience with database management tools such as Postgres, SQL server and etc.
  • Must have hands-on experience of advance SQL skills.
  • Must have exposure to at least one programming language, e.g. Python, Java, C++ and etc. Hands-on experience of coding tasks is preferred.
  • Experience of data pipeline and ETL tools is preferred, such as CloverDX Designer, MS SSIS, Airflow and etc.
  • Exposure to Cloud Service (e.g. AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud) is preferred.
  • Experience of batch scripts, shell scripts, HTML, XML is preferred.
  • Have minimum data mining skills.
  • Have minimum understanding of or exposure to financial market and financial data, risk measurement. Knowledge of Economics and Finance or relevant data is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in both speaking and writing.
  • Reliable team player to share and support.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Flexible in working schedule.
