MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible in developing (& researching) the advance algorithms (with data science) OR optimizing manufacturing processes
• Required to have expertise in one (or more) domains as followed:

• Optimization: Linear/ Non-Linear Programming, Heuristic Algorithms, Stochastic Process, etc.
• Data Analytics: Forecasting Models, Data Mining, Pattern Recognition, Multi-variate Time Series Analyses, etc.
• Participating/ Leading the projects (to solve diverse problems) covering algorithm development, system implementation and data acquisitions
• Driving research (from concepts to feasible output) to determine the ideas\' viability (that leverage the knowledge of data analytics OR optimization)
• Developing & operating the models & services (to deploy in manufacturing processes)
• Acquiring the state-of-art technologies & innovating ways (to use them in solving real-world manufacturing issues)
• Publishing (journal/ article/ conference) papers OR applying patents (on research conducted)
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Required to have minimum 2 - 3 years of research and development experiences in Data Optimization OR Data Analytics (preferably in Manufacturing Domain, but not limited to)
• Track record in publishing (journal/ article/ conference) papers from research practices
• Implementing research ideas to show their feasibility in problem solving (using programming skills)
• Expertise in processing large-scale datasets in distributed data frameworks (i.e.: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc.)
• Experienced with (some of) the followings:

• Regression/ Classification/ Clustering models,
• Analyses (i.e.: Large-scale Data analysis, Time series analysis),
• Forecasting models OR Kernel-based methods,
• Mathematical Modeling & Algorithm Development using Mathematical Programming [such as Linear Programming (LP)/ Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP) Algorithms, Metaheuristic Algorithms],
• Stochastic Process,
• Combinatorial Optimization Expertise with Mathematical Programming Solvers (i.e.: Gurobi, CPlex, etc.)
• Machine Learning or Data Mining frameworks (i.e.: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, MLlib, etc.)
