We are looking for Database Administrator to join IT software company!

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday
• Working Location: Tanjong Pagar
• Basic Salary: Up to S$ 7,000 + AWS + VB (Permanent Roles)

Serve as a Oracle DBA providing core Database Administrative, innovation, support, database infrastructure and architecture design. Position requires the ability to provide on-call, after-hours/weekend support, when necessary.
Responsibilities:

• ORACLE database schema designing and assessments.
• Database performance tuning.
• Working with AWS to keep the database in latest patching and version.
• Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data.
• Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support and knowledge transfer to customers.
• Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards.
• Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity.
• Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Database issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of software / database development / Oracle DBA.
• Experienced in Database infrastructure and architecture design, Oracle AWS RDS and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Experienced in executing and writing Oracle PL/SQL in the most efficient way.
• Experienced in database optimization and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience in configuring 11g/12c database in Linux and Oracle product troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Experience with Oracle products such as, Oracle GoldenGate, Real Application Clusters, Application Server, Replication and Streams
• Bachelor\'s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Database Administration, CIS or related Technical major.
