Job Description

:

• Responsible for project scoping and delivery, which includes solutioning, implementing, migration and upgrading for Oracle Standalone, HA and DR configurations for PAAS services like Exadata, RAC etc., on various platforms.
  

• Responsible for planning and implementing UAT and DB hardening as per customer requirements
  

• Must be good at performing scripting in Unix/Linux as well as PL/SQL and make use of automation tools such as Ansible
  

• Must be able to perform database performance tuning including I/O, Load Analysis, ADDR, AWR, SQL Profiling etc
  

• Able to perform oracle OEM 12C/13C setup and integration of DB to OEM.
  

• He/She will be responsible to face customer on all operational issues and activities
  

• Perform impact analysis of DB Design changes due to DB upgrades etc.

• Good understanding of core support processes and change management, maintain documentation standards

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree (MCA / BE / BSC or SC computer science)

• Should be a self-driven independent contributor

• Good project planning and management skills

• Able to communicate effectively

• Should possess excellent knowledge of multiple versions of Oracle, from Oracle 10G upwards, with clear understanding of various dependencies between versions

• Knowledge of tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, Goldengate etc. will be an added advantage

• Having experience on additional database technologies such as MSSQL,MySQL 8,Posgres etc will be an added advantage

• Should be flexible on working/supporting various projects in different technologies

• Should be willing to work on weekends, Public Holidays and after working hours too, if required.
