Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain up-to-date database design documents.
- Manage our database environment, including Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and Oracle Restart on Windows platform.
- Handle database activities such as upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
- Establish and enforce database standards and procedures for our product teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis of production-related database issues and provide timely reports to superiors.
- Lead ongoing and new projects, providing regular progress updates to the Section Head.
- Configure servers and databases, ensuring data integrity is maintained.
- Ethically handle private data, including financial and customer information.
- Utilize incident and problem management tools, such as Oracle Enterprise Management and ServiceNow.
- Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent qualification.
- 3 to 10 years of experience in system/database development.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database administration.
- Proficiency in scripting, query tuning, optimization, and complex problem-solving.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Database Administration.
- Prior leadership experience in IT system development, control, and operations.
- Knowledge of banking operations and procedures is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of MongoDB is a plus.
