To assist the Delivery Operations Manager in managing Delivery operations being assigned.
Key tasks and responsibilities
Effectively manages a team of 3PL at the assigned locations
To analyse and propose the smooth running of the deliveries
Collaborates with 3PLs to ensure meeting of on-time delivery and quality in Lean manner
Delivers what the customers (both internal and external) value by utilizing resourceseffectively and adhering to Lean principles.
Measures and be accountable to report on the progress of various key performance indicators(KPI) that are linked to the operational performance.
Acts as the driver and catalyst for change in continuous improvement activities through Lean-Sigma tools and methodologies, including 5S, Kaizen activities.
To assist Operations managers in handling any projects and crisis in timely manner.
To assist in all customer feedback and propose resolution within stipulated time
To review and implement operational changes and enhancements.
To review monthly reports on Operations efficiency.
To review, brief or conduct on-going SOP workshop and in-house training for Ops staff onhow to handle situations and problems encountered in their daily routines.
Qualifications
3 years relevant experience in Operations management, preferably dealing with Last Mile Delivery operations and big teams operating in customer centric environment.
Good communication skills
Able to have critical thinking skills in managing quality issues
Ability to work collaboratively to resolve issues with strong influence, diplomacy and partnering skills to grow relationship and establish rapport
Ability to work with minimum supervision
