Job Description

Purpose of the role: To assist the team with necessary preparation for operation.


You Will: 1. Adhere to the given recipe 2. Prepare meals as instructed by the Head Chef, Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or Chef de partie 3. Receive deliveries, and verify that all items ordered have been received, and are of good quality 4. Take inventory of restaurant supplies, and notify the supervisor when stocks are low 5. Dispose of expired/spoilt food items in stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers 6. Clean and ensure all workstations are organised and properly sanitised 7. Prepare meal items as instructed by the Head Chef, Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or Chef de partie 8. Assist management with enforcement of health, safety, and food hygiene practices


To excel and be outstanding in this role, you need to 1. Have attention to detail on food plating, handling of ingredients precision in plating. 2. Initiative on handling daily operations. 3. Positive attitude 4. Consistency in managing the station in the long run. 5. Able to manage time effectively. 6. Guiding new members of the team. 7. Ensuring proper rotation of stocks (Ensuring fresh ingredients and preps within station) 8. Consistency in preparing food adherent to the recipe.


Skills 1. Fluent in English
