As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. S L Chan manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Chan practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from Dental Implant Surgery and Wisdom Tooth Removal to Corrective Jaw Surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We can also diagnose and treat Facial Pain, Facial Injuries and Fractures.Dental Receptionists

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Perform Customer Service duties at the front desk such as handling patient registration, appointment booking, answering phone calls attending to patient's enquiries.
• Schehdule follow-up appointments for patients and advice on necessary tests/ investigation.
• Liaise with doctors, nurse and internal departments on any clarification for patient matters.
• Collect payment, issue receipts and simple book-keeping.
• Perform administrative duties such as filling, data entry, checking mail and stock-taking.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time, such as assisting in prearing, sterilising and maintenance of dental instruments and clinic facilities.
• Others ad-hoc job duties as assigned.
• Able to assist chairside will be a bonus.

Job Requirements :

• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to converse in English and Mandarin so as to handle English or Mandarin speaking patients.
• Acknowledge priorities and able to act accordingly
• Meticulous and positive attitude to continuous improvement.
• Proactive and able to take the initiative while working with fellow colleagues as a team
• Able to handle the pressure of challenging work load in a busy pracitce.
• Able to work office hours, 5.5 days a week
• Singaporean
