Ensure the achievement of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and delivery of contractual obligations, without compromising safety & quality of our services.
Be accountable for the overall work safety & quality in the Depot, ensuring that staff are trained and qualified before they are deployed for the tasks.
Account and optimize the use of allocated resources for operational effectiveness through the introduction of new initiatives & continuous improvements.
Improve operational efficiency through effective cost management of the Depot.
Establish collaborative work relationships with Customer and Customer End Users,
Work on improving the identified service shortfalls
Take on the role of Committee Chair for one of the work domain functions of Receipt, Warehousing, Repairs and Distribution & Shipping. As the Committee Chair, leads the review and documentation of the work processes for continuous improvements
Participate in work plans, study, reviews for new initiatives or projects for business growth.
Initiate team building and engagement programs to build committed, engaged and cohesive work team
Coach, counsel, discipline and appraise the work results of staff.
Take on tasks or projects as assigned by VP/Head
Job Requirements:
Degree, preferable in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or with rich years of experience in similar role
In depth knowledge of supply chain operations, with understanding of SAP inventory management software will be an advantage
Good verbal and written communications skills
Good Organising, analytical Problem Solving, Critical Thinking and Customer Service Skills
