Job Description
Responsibilities
Provide legal advice on regulatory matters in the areas of Telecommunications, Postal Services, Media, and Data Protection, including administrative law, TMT/ICT, and competition law; regulatory instruments; exercise of statutory powers, enforcement actions, and appeals. Partner with stakeholders in shaping legislation, regulatory frameworks, and public policies. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, and advise on a broad spectrum of issues related to corporate operations and industry development functions. Assess potential legal risks and formulate effective risk management approaches and internal governance policies. Advise on disputes and oversee litigation matters.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Law. Qualified and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in Singapore. 6-8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in legal practice and/or in-house counsel roles focusing on TMT, ICT, or data protection. Litigation experience is advantageous. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
