To administer the Residential Property Act to regulate foreign ownership of restricted residential property in Singapore. Main role involves operational aspects pertaining to the day to day running and operations of the Land Dealings Approval Unit, including:
Processing, managing, and evaluating cases.
Responding to enquiries from members of the public and foreign persons
Providing support for projects
To provide legal advice and support on operational matters and projects, including drafting and legislative review
To review policies, prepare policy submissions and make policy recommendations to ensure they are up to date and relevant.
To conduct enforcement work to ensure compliance with legislation and conditions.
What we are looking for:
Candidates with a qualification in Law and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore is preferred
Prior experience in professional private practice or an in-house legal position will be advantageous
Excellent command of English language (both written and spoken)
Good interpersonal, writing and communication skills.
Meticulous and responsible
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Experience in managing a team is preferred
