What the role is:The jobholder will support Dir to position HTX as a thought-leader and innovation champion in the Homeland Security (HLS) S&T space through class-leading and high-public impact Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) events, strategic dialogues, innovative workshops and other outreach programmes. The job holder will play a pertinent role in cultivating and sustaining strong collaborations with local/ international partners, safeguarding strategic assets and ensuring strong project management skills for flawless executions of milestones within targets and on-the-job team guidance.What you will be working on:1. Identify and cultivate local and international partnerships -Establish criteria to identify potential local and international partners for collaborations -Direct engagements and work with identified strategic partners: (a)iHTX divisions and international partners to curate and project the appropriate public profile of HTX events (b)HTX divisions, MHA units and Home Team Departments to build high-value participation of strategic government partners in these events and develop impactful contents to showcase MHA/HTX ground-breaking operational concepts and cutting-edge innovations (c)SGov agencies in the MICE and tech-driven economy sector like STB, ESG etc to support TXS at the national level (d)Partners from the commercial and non-government space to support TXS in the development and execution of TXS programmes 2.Asset management -Safeguard HTX strategic assets (IP rights, HTX/TXS branding, logo) and confidential data (eg guest list) arising from the events organized 3. Project management and lead to coordinate resources internally and externally with third parties/vendors for flawless execution of multiple workstreams -Manage the internal team and external contractors including the appointed event management company to ensure all project milestones are accomplished on time, within scope and budget -Team lead to provide guidance, support, advice on resource allocations, project changes if any, or any other project complexities that may crop up -Review project performances, completion of short- and long-term goals and areas done well/ in need of improvement and make recommendations to improve -Prepare comprehensive project plans or presentation materials to be shared with HTX senior management and relevant stakeholders 4.Participate in international conferences, meetings, visits -Learn from and adopt/adapt best practices and latest technology to make the next TXS better than the one before -Develop good and current knowledge on events of similar nature to TXS -Develop opportunities to market/create awareness on TXS -Identify global and local trends in the general MICE space in particular Singapore's priorities / agenda in developing the sectorWhat we are looking for:-Minimum 10 year of work experience with Degree in any field -Minimum 8 years of supervisory experience -Excellent communication skills -Experience in partnership, events related management All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
