PRINCIPAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: * Report to Vice President (VP), Long-Term Contracts Management. * Lead LNG delivery management of DGI's long-term LNG purchases and sales contracts in relat PRINCIPAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Report to Vice President (VP), Long-Term Contracts Management. Lead LNG delivery management of DGI's long-term LNG purchases and sales contracts in relation to projects that Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) has equity LNG liftings,including direct communication with internal and external stakeholders in a collaborative manner. As LNG delivery management directly relates to profit and loss of DGI, strong ownership and continuous focus will be required to ensure LNG deliveries. Support VP in formulating DGI's Business Plans and Budgets as well as internal DGI reporting. Form and lead special purpose teams or taskforce as tasked by VP to study, propose and implement DGI's value or efficiency enhancement measures. As buyer portfolio will increasingly become Japan oriented, building strong relationships with relevant Japanese buyers in fluent Japanese for smooth implementation is required. Where delegated, manage external relationships on behalf of VP including respective senior management representatives. Bridge other directorates within DGI as well as external stakeholders to ensure smooth cargo delivery and scheduling. Managing and directing own direct reports as well as facilitating collaboration among all directorate members as well as other directorates within DGI, including but not limited to establishing clear objectives, valuations of scenarios, identifying challenges, proposing solutions and executing strategy and operations. Facilitating ongoing professional development of direct reports. Establish and maintain a strong and motivated team environment including guiding staff and resolving any interpersonal team issues. Experience & Knowledge At least 10 years of in-depth experience within the LNG industry, preferably with major oil and gas company, and experience ranging from LNG marketing, development of new LNG projects, LNG value-chain contract negotiations, LNG operation and scheduling. Proven track record in successful implementation of LNG deliveries as well as direct buyer engagements and negotiations, especially with Japanese counterparts. Extensive experience working in a diverse and multicultural environment including leading and managing such a team. Extensive experiences in overseas assignment preferable. Comprehensive understanding of regulatory and legal restrictions applicable to the sales, export and transportation of LNG in the global market. Skills and Competencies Excellent negotiation skills in fluent English and Japanese, as well as high level of linguistic skills in both languages. Meticulous and detailed focus with ability to identify complex concepts including ability to lead structured negotiations of complex commercial agreements within the LNG value chain. Ability to build strong relationships quickly with stakeholders and external third parties. Possess a high level of commercial awareness with ability to identify and propose solutions to commercial issues, consistent with the company's objectives. Ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment. Possess a high level of cultural awareness with ability to successfully communicate with staff, internal and external stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
