Responsibilities Negotiate commercial contracts and amendments for Asia Pacific and global and work with the regional legal team on legal aspects; Assist with litigation matters, pre-lawsuit disputes, and employment matters that may arise in countries where our office located and worldwide; Work on global Procurement matters, contracts, and policy related to the same; Help to develop and lead legal strategy and support for critical global market growth initiatives; Guide and drive business efforts in multiple jurisdictions and eliminate regulatory and operational blockers by collaborating with cross-functional teams internally and engaging with local regulators Provide practical, in-depth thought leadership on legal issues and risks in a risk-tolerant, but compliance-oriented environment, including the impact on the company's long-term strategy to business and legal audiences; Proactively solve process and other problems for the business as they plan and execute on an accelerated and aggressive global growth plan; Serve as part of a multi-jurisdiction international legal team; Analyze and advise on complex, new regulatory guidance in financial, crypto, and tech sectors; Assist the General Counsel with other matters that may arise, including, but not limited to, policy drafting, advice, and research in connection with business objectives, marketing campaigns, privacy, and compliance matters.Qualifications 5 to 8 years post qualification experience minimum in a law firm and corporate environment; Broad experience in a variety of legal disciplines, such as corporate law, litigation, commercial contracts, employment law, intellectual property law, data privacy, and compliance; Experience working in a fast-paced, complex company where resources and customers are spread across many countries; A good standing with a bar association is preferred; Experience in financial, crypto, and/or tech sectors and applicable regulatory regimes; Experience creating and supporting new local entities within a global company; Experience working on a multi-jurisdiction legal team; Willingness to challenge the status quo and preconceived notions of what is possible as well as working in areas where regulation is still evolving; Excellent judgment, analytical rigor, clear communication, and business pragmatism;
