Job Description


  • Role is based in Tanjong Kling Road (bus pick up transport provided).
  • Official work hours Mon to Fri at 800 am to 530 pm.
  • At least 5 to 8 years’ relevant experience in HR Operations in an MNC. Has experience in leading a HR Operations Team for at least 2 years
  • Experience in construction / manufacturing / engineering industries, or exposure to supporting blue collar workers on HR operations is a must

Headquartered in Singapore, the firm’s products are used in the construction of residential, industrial and commercial buildings, as well as infrastructural projects. Some of these iconic structures include Changi Airport, Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World integrated resorts.

You will be leading a team of 7 HR operation staff who supports the organization various business units. Your primarily responsibility is to deliver excellent HR services to stakeholders, employees and ensuring there is ongoing support that enable the HR Business Partners to achieve and support business objectives and operational efficiency.

You are the person who possess full of drive to lead the transformation of your team, determine to drive changes, consistently explore opportunities to automate processes to improve and achieve productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities: HR Operations
  • Lead the HR Operations team to provide seamless HR services and advisory support to the business units and employees.
  • Manage and engage the HR Operation team’s performance, competencies and coach the team to raise the overall employees and stakeholders’ experience
  • Ensure the HR services and processes are administered in accordance with company’s internal policies and comply with legislation.
  • Analyze and streamline processes and recommend changes to improve operational efficiency. Explore automation of processes to reduce manual work intervention.
  • Responsible for the on-boarding and off-boarding for Executive and Managerial level employees, to ensure good employee experience.
  • Drive the renewal and management of Group Medical Insurance with insurance providers ensuring employees’ queries on insurance claims are promptly handled.
  • Benchmark and review HR policies and benefits, update workflows and data reports
  • Responsible for the annual business plan budgeting for organization wide employees’ cost and expenses
  • Oversee the payroll function and outsource payroll vendor to ensure accurate, timely and smooth interface.
  • Partner with HRBPs to work on HR related queries to deliver to the stakeholders, business units in a timely manner.
  • Organizing of employees’ events such as Long Service Award, Bursary Award and organization wide communication session.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

HRIS management
  • Responsible for HRIS data integrity and ensuring relevant audit controls are in place.
  • Oversee and maintain optimal function of HRIS, and work with our external vendor (in India) on technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs/COEs, Information Technology teams and stakeholders to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
  • Drive improvement projects and implementation.

Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in HR or relevant field.
  • At least 5 to 8 years’ relevant experience in HR Operations in an MNC
  • Must have experience in leading a HR Operations Team for at least 2 years of at least 3 staff or more
  • Has good leadership skills with strong coaching/ nurturing skills
  • Must have prior experience in implementation of HRIS
  • Good working knowledge of HR processes, best practices and labour laws to ensure HRIS meets organisation needs
  • Strong in system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
  • Good leadership skills, able to delegate tasks and coach the team members
  • Having a resilient mindset and attitude
  • Able to multitask, strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Attention to details, good communication and organizational skills
  • A team player who is self-driven and results focus
  • Appointment will commensurate with experience & qualification
  • Open to work based in Tanjong Kling Road (company provides subsidised transport services across various locations). Also open to the work hours which is from 8am to 530pm
