Design Engineer ($3000 $4500/aws/vb)

Job Description
$4500 + AWS + VB + allowance
5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hours
Location: East
Responsibilities
- Create design calculations according to stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 and authorities\xe2\x80\x99 requirements
- Liaise with client, consultants, main contractor and sub-contractor in design works
- Provide value engineering proposals during tender and ongoing projects
- Coordinate and assist the project team regarding on site works
- Ensure site works are according to the design calculations
- Comply with relevant design code(s) and authorities\xe2\x80\x99 requirements in Singapore
- Check through shop drawings and ensure drawings are according to the design calculation
- Submit calculations and necessary submissions to BCA and relevant authorities in order to get approval on time
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and Staadpro is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
