Job Responsibilities

  • Concept Design and Development: Create FF&E and OS&C designs that align with Casino Design\'s vision and project goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with business units to understand design and operational requirements. Provide clear direction to external consultants and operational stakeholders.
  • Material and Product Selection: Source and select high-quality accessories, materials, finishes, and furnishings.
  • Vendor Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Project Coordination: Work with operational stakeholders, design consultants, procurement, and vendors on design-related matters. Track and monitor project progress, delivery, and installation timelines.
  • External Consultant Management: Manage external Design Consultants (Interior Design, Styling, Artwork, Signage) from appointment to project completion.
  • Quality Assurance: Review design drawings and packages. Review and approve samples of FF&E and OS&E items (where possible) and compare the design drawings and materials submitted before final production. Review mock-ups and implement quality checks for assigned projects.
  • Documentation and Media Management: Maintain detailed project records, including expenses. Manage photo and video shoots of gaming spaces/projects.
  • Installation: Supervise the installation of FF&E and OS&C items.
  • Research and Site Visits: Conduct design research and competitor studies. Visit sites and factories to ensure compliance with approved design intent.
  • Support the Director of Casino Development to execute special projects as directed in related activities.
Job RequirementsEducation & Certification
  • Bachelor\'s degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in interior design / product design or related field.
Experience
  • 5+ years of working experience in luxury or hospitality interior design projects is preferred. Knowledge of casino or 5-star hospitality industries is a strong plus.
  • A portfolio of previous project experience in luxury hospitality, residential or similar.
  • Sound experience in management of projects.
  • Knowledge of industry and market trends.
  • Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders to create a cohesive strategy.
Other Prerequisites
  • Proficiency in design software: Bluebeam Revu, Photoshop, AutoCAD, SketchUp.
  • Proficient in all MS Office tools - Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High attention to design detailing and good knowledge of materials.
  • Strong conceptualization and presentation skills.
  • Strong sense of design/ conceptual flair and love of art.
  • Sense of responsibility and communication skills.
  • Highly adaptable and flexible in working within a fluid and dynamic organization.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and busy environment and meet tight project deadlines.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with team members in a professional, respectful manner.
  • Must be self-motivated and resourceful; able to multi-task and focus on delivering results.
