Job Responsibilities:

General
  • Close communication with General Manager to reflect General Manager's intention for the project and establish Design management policy/tactics in line with General Manager's intention.
  • Responsible for dealing with client and consultant management.
Planning & Programming
  • Planning of drawings submission schedule and control the sequence and time frame for development of drawings.
  • Prepare documents submission schedule to control the sequence and timing for submission/approval with preferable float time.
Quality
  • Coordinate all design related matters with Consultants/Client.
  • Ensure main contract and sub-contract designs coordinated fulfil all design requirements.
  • Coordinate with Contract team for any formal and informal changes made by consultants.
  • Coordinate with Contract team for proper sequence of sub-contract awards.
Job Requirements:
  • At least a recognized Bachelor's degree recognized by relevant bodies (e.g. LTA, P.E Board etc)
  • At least 10 years of design coordination experience.
  • Civil Engineering construction experience is highly preferred
  • Consultant background is highly preferred.
  • Ability to influence various stakeholders and build long term relationships.
