About the department

The Digital Innovation Hubs are a global initiative with strong anchoring in the Hub regions. The Hub in Singapore is a joint effort of Global IT, International Operations, and Region APAC, and is led by the Business Innovation Garage, based in Denmark, with a strong link with Digital Data and IT APAC.

The Business Innovation Garage is a high-growth unit in Novo Nordisk. The team itself is a part of the Digital Incubator & Innovation area. The team is exploring four main areas:

• Creation of an innovation lab that will allow communities to come together to innovate, build a passionate culture, and establish space for experimentation supporting initiatives that challenge the status quo and leverage new technologies.
• Support the organization in the definition of the digital strategy and its implementation across the organization.
• Explore the limits of technology and its impact on cardiometabolic patients to untap the next big digital disruptor in healthcare
• Accelerate the digital transformation of NN by supporting the organization in boosting partnerships with start-ups in digital healthcare.

The core focus is to remain forward-looking and showcase strong adaptability. Furthermore, the team is and must be working in a highly agile manner and be able to shift its focus based on rapidly changing opportunities and threats within emerging technologies. Consequentially, you should expect the team structure to be dynamic as well.

The Position
The Digital Innovation Hub Lead position is part of the global Business Innovation Garage Team and the Regional Digital Data & IT organization. The unit is growing its global presence with a network of digital innovation hubs which will increase the number of partnerships established with start-ups across the globe. In your role you will set up the Singapore Digital Innovation Hub, connect to regional and local business units and roll out our accelerator and open innovation processes. You will also have to be part of a global network of hubs to scale successful solutions globally. You should also be comfortable organizing information, gathering learnings, and sharing those learnings among the organization.

You should be able to convincingly communicate to stakeholders across the business and act as a trusted advisor with a strong understanding of business challenges and constraints.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience and passion for driving start-up support programs and engaging stakeholders in complex environments. You should be able to tailor messages to relevant stakeholders from various levels of authority. Strong analytical, technical, and business skills are needed to navigate the landscape of technologies and translate uncertainties into tangible opportunities for Novo Nordisk.

You should have at least 10 years of experience working in venture capital, consulting, and/or product management in a corporate. Experience working with or in start-ups and digital healthcare will be a plus. A relevant master\'s degree in technology with relevant innovation management connection and a track record that includes one or more of the following:

• Experience in building and leading digital innovation teams and innovation track record working on, or driving, disruptive projects from idea to launch
• Experiences deploying new products or units across different geographies and running incubation or acceleration programs in complex structures as well as managing projects and pilots and internally selling concepts and initiatives that challenge the status quo
• Experience in developing relationships and working with multiple stakeholders on high-profile cross-functional and multinational initiatives
• Eagerness to be a part of building something new and challenging traditional methodologies
• You should also be well-articulated, have excellent business English skills (oral and written), and be able to communicate with several stakeholders.
