What is the job about?

Working from the Singapore Innovation Hub, you will guide and develop the technical innovation around selected solutions within the District Cooling and cooling in buildings. Work together with the Business Development Manager to ensure effective partnerships and innovations within the selected areas

Your main responsibilities

• Ensure the application and solution development continuously. The focus is District Cooling and cooling in buildings, also looking into digital opportunities and requirements to succeed with the prioritized solutions.
• Collaborate with the Business developers in Singapore and improve the important internal and external relationships within the selected area and solutions.
• Scan and identify partnership opportunities and build a significant network within the selected areas.
• Develop and provide application know-how and guide the development of training materials, explicit materials, and tools.
• Establish regional & global knowledge networks and knowledge sharing processes, including leading an internal application cohort within cooling.
• Follow technology trends and ensure outside-in application input for business development, technology planning and product champ teams.
• Represent the Grundfos Innovation Hub for internal and external visits.
• Convert customer feedback into explicit areas for improving existing and developing new solutions.
• Align key strategy processes within the region/area.
• Develop and cascade application strategy via effective communication.
• Implement strategy planning and governance tools and concepts.
• Based on the selected application and solutions, engage with the Business Developers to plan and deploy go-to-markets strategies within the selected areas of work.
• Drive and participate in customer-oriented pilot projects
• Other tasks assigned by the BD Director

Your background:

Experience managing defined processes within Cross Global Business Segments or regional development.

Possess industry experience within a business environment; Cooling as an application area will be beneficial.

Most likely to have 6-7 years of relevant work experience, besides formal education.

Bachelor of Engineering degree or master\'s degree with relevant experience especially liaise experience with universities

Good background working complex or specialized projects and activities in Regional or Global Business development and services organizations.

Proven results supporting key initiatives in a large organization; experience in large manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Experience working with digital solutions and building IoT is an advantage

Hands-on skills and experience are advantage.

Possess significant knowledge of best practices in relevant systems, local laws and regulations where applicable, in business or technology development, Services, Operations Management or consultant areas.

Cross functional collaboration experience is an advantage
