The ideal candidate is the subject matter expert on Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Document Imaging processes. The candidate will be responsible for the planning and communication of the department processes, capabilities and capacity in order to facilitate orderly ingestion of new business and ensure on time and efficient delivery of current business. Responsibilities

  • To lead and/or support optimization initiatives and projects while providing leadership to and driving behaviors of his direct reports.
  • To orchestrate cross-functional resources to establish, streamline and improve the systems and processes for managing daily operations.
  • To provide direction for system and process development to enable our ability to meet Operational Excellence targets in a high quality, employee centric fashion.
  • Act as the Operational resource through which all departments interact with this department and create a flow of information so that such interaction is efficient, scalable and timely.
  • To collaborate with decision-makers/business leaders to manage expectations and create synergy and efficiencies across the business.
  • To provide strong leadership and technical support to team members and local management.
  • To plan the operational forecast and ensure the teams are able to deliver to the forecast.
  • In addition, where needed will coach local management to improve their problem solving skills, leadership abilities and team performance.
  • Act as an extension of the Head of Operations to build synergy across all other business support groups.
  • Executes on other assignments as directed by the Head of Operations.
  • Bachelor degree and above with 7 or more years of experience managing and leading a high performing Document Management or BPO organization; preferably in a multi-location; multi-product line service organization.
Experience Level
  • Ability to apply decisions, and to think in broad terms, considering the impact of decisions across the entire company and Customers.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels within Iron Mountain and Customer Organizations, leading & managing though influence and earned respect.
  • Excellent written, oral and formal presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in technology aided business process re-engineering, ability to produce enduring, effective solutions to business problems; benchmarking, project management, strong analytical problem solving skills, and action-oriented with the ability to deliver timely and positive results.
  • Able to utilize a variety of tools and resources to analyze and create solutions for a variety of business issues to include metric gathering, target setting, operational performance, execution and measurement. Excellent Excel skills and/or database skills required to analyze ad hoc data.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of LEAN manufacturing concepts and Quality measurement principles.
  • Proven experience leading large scale, multiple location Imaging\BPO operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of imaging related technologies including image processing, OCR, database queries, file transfer methods and network infrastructure that makeup end-to-end workflows.
