The role also entails optimising image assets for visual clarity per the client's guidelines, exporting the assets into various formats as required, and checking the assets into a repository. The incumbent would also be expected to check his/her work on various platforms to ensure quality, consistency and correctness.This is a freelance position for upcoming short-term projects that will happen intermittently throughout the year. Each project is likely to last between 3-5 weeks and would require the team to work full days on-site at the client's office at One North. For now, you will need to be able to commit from mid January to March 2025 in the office.Due to the nature of this freelance arrangement we are not able to consider anyone who is currently in a full-time position unless they have plans to freelance full-time themselves.

  • Update/localise imagery and UI elements in Photoshop comps, and output web graphics
  • Structure Photoshop comps to optimise efficient production design and localisation workflows using slices, smart objects, and layer comps
  • Track and check on web graphics using a version control system
  • Work closely with producers, traffic, development, publishing, and international teams to meet project goals and ensure efficient file handoffs for localisation
  • Review final webpages and HTML email with an exacting eye, ensuring that graphics and layouts are flawless
  • Using Command Line Terminal to commit the images onto the .com pages
RequirementsExperience in a hands-on, high-volume web or HTML email design and publishing environment (or equivalent)
  • Photoshop expertise, particularly setting up files for web production and adhering to graphic design standards
  • Excellent design and typography sensibilities applicable to web pages and HTML email
  • Solid standards-based HTML, CSS, and general web publishing knowledge
  • Familiar with using Command Line Terminal
  • Highly detail-oriented, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel
  • Thrives in a challenging, fast-paced web publishing workplace
  • Establishes rapport and collaborates easily with production artists and front end developers
  • Able to adhere to a consistent graphic production and checking process, while also identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Proficiency in OS & iOS software
  • Good awareness of current and emerging technologies
  • Resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results-oriented with high energy and a positive attitude
  • Flexibility is key to this role as well as working beyond the 9:00-18:00 framework and occasionally at weekends
