Function of the Department & Main Purpose of the JobThe Digital Innovation Leader ("DIL") is responsible for the creation of detailed top level strategies and execution plans that define how technology should be utilized, transform and sustain to enable the overall business strategy of Bastion Inc.The DIL also will help drive transformative and innovative business processes, improvements, and re-engineering across the enterprise within Bastion in collaboration with different business and technical units.The Digital Innovation Leader helps drive key initiatives, projects, and continuous process and technological improvement throughout all aspects of the business and services, with a drive to innovate and get ahead of the technological curve.Duties & Responsibilities

• Scout emerging technologies and define new opportunities that can add business value
• Partner with business managers to identify new opportunities including process and/or business service model, business canvas, process and solution enablement plan to understand pain points and hot spots.

Responsible for implementing strategic projects to support business growth, create opportunity, and improve team effectiveness. Possess a strong sense of project-management rigor, leadership, organization and communication with the ability to accommodate frequently changing strategies and decisions. Help define product business vision for technology innovation needed in order to drive efficiencies and effectiveness in team tool usage and improve innovation processes

• Executes a governance process to provide corporate executive leadership with visibility into program performance and decision making ability

Bridge business and technical teams by being fluent in the language of consulting (business drivers, process), design (user-centric experience design), and technology Engage the business, acting as a point of contact for cross-functional collaboration; coach the cross-functional project team on the business perspective and strategic imperatives to inform key project decisions. Work closely with Enterprise Transformation leadership team to develop product roadmaps and execute delivery of technology platforms Drive change management and team-member readiness for key initiatives Identify opportunities for process design, re-engineering, simplification, and automation Initiate the continual improvement of systems and applications of Bastion Manage, mentor and motivate team members to enhance individual performance and develop team capabilities. Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization. Perform other tasks or duties that are deemed fit by management from time to timeQualifications Bachelor's / College degree in Business, Management, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience. Advanced certifications and degrees will be given preference

• Minimum 8 years in IT roles focusing on strategy, architecture (business, data, digital, information systems, infrastructure) and/or delivery functions driving digital transformation and data strategy leveraging emerging technologies
• Minimum 5 years of experience writing business cases (quantitative and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives, or IT transformation recommendations and project management
• Must have direct experience with innovation projects and transformation projects within an enterprise. Strong experience in business process engineering, implementation and rollout within complex environments is definitely preferred.
• A solid background in two (2) or more areas are required - project management, strategic planning, business process engineering, solutions architecture, or digital transformation/enterprise transformation.
