Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

This role is accountable to establish, develop and optimize Data Governance Framework, Policy, Process & associated business solutions implementations for Global Operation team. Define data governance, data management frameworks and solutions together with Chief Data Officer team, IT and Global Operation functional groups. Support business units in digital transformation journey with data governance:

  • Experience in Collibra or any data governance tool implementations
  • Implemented data governance tools (Colilbra or Informatica) to ensure their relevance and effectiveness in supporting business requirement
  • Drive data governance framework to improve overall data governance policy, processes, and standards
  • Provide expert consultation to global operation functions on data governance policy, processes and standards
  • Ensure that proposed solutions are aligned and conformed to the data landscape, roadmap and business requirements
Responsibility
  • Design and implement methods to gather and evaluate data , detecting trends and creating reports based on operational and program data
  • Coordinate with multiple functions and stakeholders on requirement gathering, functional business analysis to create functional requirement documents and user stories
  • Independently drive low complexity projects or low complexity modules of large programs
  • Creation of program collaterals such as program status documents, release notes and schedules
  • Evaluate program requirements and make recommendations on improving program deliverables and timelines
  • Supporting program managers with the establishment of budgets and schedules and the tracking of program metrics or results
  • They are also in charge of Identifying and advising on potential cost, scheduling, and performance issues.
  • Assist the Program Manager and drive functional testing of program deliverables using best in class frameworks including creation and maintenance of testing trackers , dashboards
  • Analyzing datasets related to programs and supply chain business operations in general to identify and recommend areas of improvement, automation and optimization
  • Enable Data Governance framework including managing the objectives, approach, processes, policies and procedures around data governance
  • Build robust and scalable data governance ecosystem to support business needs
  • Define data governance operational processes (e.g., data quality measurement, metadata management) in accordance with policies and standards, clearly articulating roles and responsibilities
  • Provide expert consultation to business units to establish and maintain data policies and standards that enable use-cases
  • Provide expert consultation to assist business units in identify and setup of critical data elements including the setup of data lineage, data catalogue and data quality
  • Work collaboratively & consultatively with chief data officer, business units, IT to deliver enterprise objectives around data governance
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process & framework improvements: automating manual operational processes and control for data governance implementation
  • Support and contribute to development of guidelines and standards for data classification
  • Think strategically by proposing business metrics / alternative approaches to measure data governance value
  • Accountable for preparing and publishing Data Governance & quality metrics and KPI dashboards
  • Engage in Change Management processes for enterprise wide change initiatives and projects to ensure that Data Governance Framework and Standards are implemented
  • Collaborate with the relevant parties to ensure the correct processes, people, and technology are in place in order to support the data governance framework
  • Work with Group IT, data scientist and business analytics team to assist in data governance related issues and proved effective solutions
Education and experience required
  • Degree in Business Analytics , Operations , Engineering , Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • 1-2 years relevant experience in business analytics , project management or project analysis is preferred
Knowledge and Skills Required
  • Highly proactive in managing and driving improvements and building credibility
  • Strong analytical capability with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong team player with ability to work well with other cross-functional team members
  • Excellent time management and organization skills to manage requirements of multiple work streams in parallel
  • Basic grasp of supply chain management topics such as Inventory Management , Logistics and Trade
  • Working knowledge of data analysis languages and tools : SQL , PowerBI , Qlik , Python , Cloud Architecture ( Azure, AWS , Others)
  • Strong preference for candidates with working experience or certifications in program or product management principles ( Agile or Scrum , Business Analyst Certifications , Project Management Certifications)
  • Knowledge of program management tools: JIRA, MS-Project, Trello etc.
