Job Description


We are looking for a passionate and professional Director, Business Strategy & Client Acquisition to join our iShine Cloud team. Based in Singapore and reporting into the CEO, iShine Cloud, the incumbent will assist in developing and implementing the iShine Cloud strategy aligned with the purpose and vision for the iShine Cloud organization including developing strategy alliances with the objective of operating a long-term and sustainable shared services organization for enabling charities to serve their client better. What You'll Do

  • You will understand the charity sector and identify gaps and/or focus areas so as to develop IT solutions that will meet the needs of charities
  • You will deal with the complexity of the charity sector and its interaction with the multiple different government agencies to enable the alignment and vision of uplifting the digital capabiity of the charity sector
  • You will develop the business strategy for iShine Cloud that will enable funders to see the value of iShine Cloud's services for the sector and to be able to attract and secure new funding and/or government grants to support the mission of iShine Cloud
  • You will implement the business strategy for iShine Cloud including building business partnerships and working with technology providers to build new products and services that will be adopted by the charity sector
  • You will develop deep relationships with our business partners including software and technology infrastructure companies
  • You will construct appropriate alliance models for win-win outcomes with our business partners as part of our business model for better reach to clients and to enhance service delivery
  • You will build external partnerships with actualisation of benefits from these partnerships
  • You will understand the charity market and identify the target segments
  • You will develop sales strategies to target clients
  • You will lead the team in account planning to drive towards closure of sales
  • You will develop sales forecast and reports
  • You will maintain good customer relationships with our clients, being informed of their demands and expectations, and maintain good relationships with the community
  • You will understand the client environment
  • You will achieve customer satisfactions of our services
  • You will review organisational performance and establish the top line and other key organizational performance targets, improve existing operations, optimize resources allocation and seek efficient cost-effective service delivery methods
  • You will build internal capability to enhance ability to acquire new clients, for solutioning and better support to clients and to better manage the onboarding of new clients
  • You will coach staff to maximize their individual performance and potential; conduct performance appraisals, recommend training and development areas
  • You will keep team members informed on management deliberations and decisions so that the division plans can be timely implemented as appropriate
  • You will ensure that staff are adequately equipped with the necessary skills and are competent to carry out the required tasks and activities

Who You Are
  • You will need a Degree in relevant field
  • You will need at least 10 years of senior management experience
  • You will need at least 10 years of experience in leading a team
  • Past working experience in public and or charity sectors is preferred.
  • You should be good overall understanding and experience in leading and managing programmes that leverages on infocomm to enable specific public, private or people sector
  • You should have general understanding of the social sector and the challenges associated with their adoption of infocomm technologies.
  • You should have knowledge of government and regulatory environment in general
  • You should have experience in managing the application of Government grants and how they relate to performance outcomes.
  • You should have experience in managing the operations of a similar or larger-sized entity
  • You should have ability to work with internal teams and external stakeholders
