We are looking for a Director, Distribution to join our Southeast Asia & Australasia region team. This position is based in Singapore.

As Director, Distribution, we rely on you to:

  • Develop and implement Global Distribution Strategy in collaboration with Sales, Digital Marketing and Revenue Optimization in Southeast Asia & Australasia.
  • Devise and roll out channel shift strategy from third party distributors to internal channels or lower cost channels, especially in key compressed markets.
  • Actively manage distribution key accounts in assigned markets personally, including OTA, alternate distribution and online wholesalers (redistributors).
  • Drive revenue from all third party online channels to meet established targets.
  • Lead global contract negotiations for regional accounts with Online Travel Platforms, OTAs, alternate distribution channels and online wholesalers (redistributors).
  • Reinforce rate parity compliance and monitor OTA / Wholesale contract compliance with particular emphasis on search landscape.
  • Work toward moving traditional wholesale partners to seamless product delivery, with dynamic connectivity.
  • Provide leadership, support, education and guidance to regional hotels to strategically grow and manage their third party online channels.
We are looking for someone who has the following:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree, preferably in business administration, economics, hospitality management or analytics
  • At least 3 years of experience in the same capacity in a regional or multi-property hotel environment
  • Proven experience in strategy activation and project management
  • Able to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities and build relationships with key industry stakeholders
  • Sound understanding of revenue management in a fast-changing environment
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
