This role will be a critical leadership position, partnering with the VP & Regional General Manager as we prepare to create magic at sea in Southeast Asia. You\xe2\x80\x99d be a leading part of a dynamic, fast-paced team that will help prepare Disney Cruise Line to sail from Singapore beginning in 2025.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS AND POSITION
As Disney Cruise Line prepares to launch year-round sailings from Singapore, we are now seeking a Director of Marketing. This role will be responsible to lead the marketing strategy, communications planning, and execution to ensure revenue and volume targets are delivered to successfully achieve key business drivers.

You should be an energetic, proactive, self-starter with experience working within large-scale travel industry business. Candidates must work well in teams and possess the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

FOCUS

  • Partner with VP & Regional General Manager to define the overall marketing approach driving consumer understanding, awareness, intention, and conversion.
  • Develop the marketing approach across Southeast Asia not limited to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Philippines, and China
  • Strong collaboration with Disney Cruise Line Global marketing team to deeply understand the brand, positioning, communication materials and go to market approach.
  • Deep understanding of the marketing funnel across the entire communication mix.
  • Knowledge of media consumption habits across Southeast Asia.
  • Collaboration and integration with the VP Travel Trade Sales and Distribution to ensure a comprehensive go to market approach.
  • Develop agency strategy, acquisition, and engagement across creative, digital, media and PR as needed.
  • Lead the implementation of marketing plans driving pre-launch, launch and sustain phases.
  • Drive engagement with partnership initiatives not limited to Shanghai Tourism Board, Travel Partners, Operating participants, and Disney Company to maximize consumer engagement.
  • Liaise closely with Disney Cruise Line and Disney Parks counterparts across Global, Hong Kong and EMEA to engage in best practices and understand synergies.
  • Ensure strong consumer understanding including regional and target nuances to ensure relevant and motivating communications.
  • Identify, lead, and manage the marketing team ensuring teamwork, motivation, accountability, creativity and success.
  • Collaborate successfully with Global Marketing and Communications partners.
  • Achieve solid business performance in alignment with annual operating goals.
  • Envision an inspiring future direction aligned to growth plans.
  • Make sound and ethical business decisions with the perspective of the broader business goals.
  • Ensure a deep comprehension of Disney Cruise Line product experience.
  • Interact effectively with diverse stakeholders exceptional and engaging communication style.
  • Ability to translate strategy into specific and measurable marketing plans.
  • Analyze data and information to drive decision making and plan refinement.
  • Stay current on business issues, industry trends, consumer purchasing behaviors and technology.
COMPETENCIES
  • Minimum of 10 years hands-on senior leadership directly leading marketing communications.
  • Strong Southeast Asia region experience and associated comprehensive marketing plans.
  • Prior Cruise Line experience highly desired.
  • Significant experience in managing complex projects in a fast-paced, multi-site environment reliant upon successful collaboration and integration of key stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of savvy business judgment along with mental agility and flexibility required in a dynamic company.
  • Significant experience leading marketing planning and delivery driving exceptional business results.
  • Keen understand of consumer behaviors, travel and booking patterns within Southeast Asia.
  • Results oriented constantly seeking opportunities to further business results.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to define clear vision and motivate others to achieve goals, inspire, and drive enthusiasm, teamwork and partner engagement.
  • Clear working knowledge of driving commercial agreements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate ideas persuasively, settle differences and win concessions while fostering relationships.
  • Demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking, business acumen and bias for action.
  • Exceptional knowledge of all facets of marketing across earned, owned, and paid.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
