Telenor Procurement Company (TPC), established in 2017 and headquartered in Singapore, operates as a subsidiary of the Telenor Group. We deliver Global Category Management as a service to the Telenor Business Units, taking full responsibility for the end-to-end Sourcing process and performance of global spend categories. Functioning as one Global Procurement team across all Telenor markets, we enable Telenor’s strategic ambitions by becoming a centre of expertise in the pursuit of efficient operations. TPC seeks qualified procurement professionals that are comfortable working in a global setup in the fast-paced Telecom field.
About the Role
As a Head of Category, IT Services you will report directly to Vice President - Head of ISIT Sourcing and will be a member of the ISIT management team and the extended TPC management team. Your daily interfaces beside your own team will be Telenor’s corporate functions and business units as well as suppliers.
Main tasks include:
Lead and manage team (direct reportees as well as members of the IT Service Global Category Team) of professionals & be responsible for engagement and enablement of the team
Leading end-to-end category strategy development for the IT Services category, set clearly defined and measurable goals and objectives for the category and translate strategy developed into roadmaps, annual pipeline/portfolio and ensure prioritization for the category well aligned with functional stakeholders and demand/initiatives owners
IT Services category is responsible to drive and implement transformation programs like Operating model change for IT Services across BUs. You will be part of the program to implement and drive change; engage stakeholders, drive initiatives and projects forward and capitalize on new opportunities
Lead & manage strategy sourcing projects based on procurement policy and processes of TPC and play pivotal role in the processes including challenge demand specifications, setup sourcing process, supplier negotiations and post contract supplier management
The category deals with strategic suppliers for ISIT. You will own and drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with top tier vendors
Be responsible to deliver on annual KPI targets including realized savings, procurement efficiency, customer satisfaction and other KPIs
Stakeholder management and establishing working relationship with customers is key. Work in partnership with the technology teams and business units to ensure alignment of priorities, activities and projects
Overviewing delivery of post-contracting projects, equipment, goods and services across the category
Manage contracts and price book relevant to the respective category
Handle conflicts and disputes with the suppliers & stakeholders
Ensure monthly reporting & progress tracking using Procurement systems and processes in place in TPC
Foresee business risks related to role, highlighting to leadership and work towards mitigating risks in best manner
Profile
To succeed in this role is it believed that a broad understanding of the telecom industry combined with a deep understanding of IT services in the IS/IT category specially. You need to be a good leader and role model for your own team and the whole organization, with the ability to both delegate and execute independently.

Qualification Requirements
A university degree, preferably within business administration, finance, supply chain or equivalent
More than 10 years extensive experience in senior procurement/contract management/ vendor/negotiations/supply chain management role preferably in Services related categories
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience and preferably in a global and matrix environment
Solid leadership experience from setting up and managing high performing multi-cultural teams
