Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in the Media and Entertainment Industry while working with industry tests, trends, and participant landscapes.
  • 10 years of experience building executive relationships and driving engagements.
  • Experience as a leading within the media and entertainment industry and driving conversations with C-level leaders.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience promoting cloud computing technologies to large and complex organizations across geographies.
  • Experience in high-growth and fast-paced sales environments, including alignment across multiple functions.
  • Understanding of how various cloud technologies work together to drive deeper technology adoption within the existing large account base.
  • Understanding of data and networking technologies, the global cloud computing market, and key drivers for growth in the target industry segment.
  • Ability to work with a growth mindset.

About the job


As a Director of Industry Sales, you will help drive business across strategic accounts in Media and Entertainment. You will also represent Google Cloud’s Media and Entertainment business across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region both internally (e.g., across Google business areas) and externally within the market.

In this role, you will define and lead a cohesive business strategy across the Media and Entertainment Industry. You will also collaborate across APAC sub-regions, business areas, and functions, enabling the local field teams to grow and expand their customer relationships in the regions. In addition, you will drive executive relationships and relevance and drive incremental business growth for the Media and Entertainment business across strategic APAC accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business engagements with executives of Media and Entertainment customers across APAC with a transformational industry goal and a differentiated solution partnership to accelerate customer digital transformation and acquire partnerships.
  • Own accountability of ongoing executive relationships and business growth in the account orchestrating a broad set of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent Google Cloud Media and Entertainment business across APAC region.
  • Drive and scale existing solutions in the market and co-create solutions based on industry, customer, and technology trends while bringing together various customer and Google business
    units.
  • Work as an individual contributor and executive leader to manage by influence across a matrixed organization.
