At the highest levels of the Cloud Terrace, level 18 will house Orchard\'s highest pillarless ballroom, Claymore Ballroom.Operated by Pan Pacific Hotels Group, a member of UOL Group Limited, Pan Pacific Orchard elevates the guest experience with the Pan Pacific signature of sincere and graceful luxury.The RoleBe part of the amazing team of PAN PACIFIC ORCHARD, SINGAPORE to redefine the city\'s landscape and grow your hospitality career.The Director of Marketing Communications is responsible to deliver an integrated PR and marketing communication strategies which increase awareness and contributes to the overall revenue and business goals for the hotel. He/She is also expected to maximize engagement and inspire more loyal followers, while developing new audiences across all offline and online marketing and digital channels. The Director of Marketing Communications will uphold the hotel and brand positioning; creating a strong presence in the key geographical markets. He/She will develop and execute an integrated marketing communications plan for the Hotel and collaborate with internal key stakeholders to co-develop communications plan suited for each key revenue areas.Expectations:

  • Manage digital marketing strategy and its tactical activities for the Hotel\'s brand to optimise user experience.
  • Curate Hotel\'s website content to ensure relevance and effectiveness. Ensures that photography, videography, copywriting, external/internal hotel content and communications are in line with Hotel\'s brand standards.
  • Manage social media content, drive campaigns and cultivate engagement across different channels.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns and email communications aligned with Group\'s policy.
  • Prepares promotional press releases on personalities and noteworthy events of the Hotel.
  • Attends to client/media complaints, requests, and enquiries and, coordinates handling with departments concerns.
  • Manage marketing communications budget and advertising and promotion spend. Measure effectiveness of all marketing communications activities and initiatives and recommend improvement plans.
  • Coordinates and supervises the production of printed materials and direct photographers commissioned to take pictures of VIPs, shows etc.
  • Provides information in a timely manner to other departments on activities within and outside the hotel which may be useful when dealing with guests.
  • Act as the Hotel\'s and liaison with the Media and coordinate with VP, Brand Marketing and Communications where relevant for issues that impact the Group.
  • Maintains regular contact with media and host site inspections for press conferences, activities, visiting media and journalists
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating the media listing for sending to trade, group and consumer publications on a regular basis, press releases covering special events, promotions, etc.
  • Maintains clipping flies pertaining to the Hotel\'s advertising and publicity based on daily perusal of media and provides the same to the General Manager.
  • Maintains digital photographs/slides library.
  • Handles all guest replies/complaints on Tripadvisor.com for the Hotel.
  • Liaise with Brands team at Corporate office on matters affecting Brand and Corporate image.
Talent ProfileWe are looking for self-motivated individual with at least 8 to 10 years of solid experience in PR and/or marketing roles and have led a successful team. You should have built a strong relationship with local, regional and international media, publications, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and influencers and proven track record of delivering increased brand and hotel awareness. You are one with an eye for detail, takes a hands-on approach of work and is creative with the ability to adapt to ever changing trends.
